Thick and creamy with a hint of sweet vanilla and gentle warming spices, this dairy-free Gingerbread Smoothie is a delicious, healthy Christmas breakfast.

If the festive feeling hasn’t quite arrived yet, this smoothie is a simple way to bring those seasonal flavours to your breakfast table.
Gingerbread is a classic Christmas flavour — comforting, sweet and spiced in all the right ways. While it’s enjoyed year-round, there’s something extra special about enjoying it during the holidays.
Rich and creamy, with vanilla notes and a delicate blend of ginger, cinnamon and cloves, this dairy-free Gingerbread Smoothie captures the essence of gingerbread without the indulgence of biscuits or baked treats. It’s quick to prepare and makes a satisfying, lighter breakfast option on days when you expect to eat more later on.

Whether you’re planning a busy day of festive food or simply want a seasonal and nutritious start, this smoothie is a great pick. The spice level here is kept mild so it’s family-friendly, but you can easily increase the ginger or cinnamon for a stronger kick.
Milk Substitutes
I used a blend of almond and coconut milk, which gives a pleasant balance of creaminess and subtle flavour. If you prefer, you can use dairy milk, soy milk, oat milk or any other plant-based milk — the recipe adapts well to different options.

What other festive smoothie flavours would you like to try this season? Spiced pear, mulled berry or maple pecan could all work beautifully.
