On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve a mention. One such staple is Beaumont. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito there and knew it had to be included.

I appreciate Beaumont for many reasons, but the top two are convenience and freshness. If you spend time recreating in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is an excellent place to fuel up before you head out. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through keeps it fast and accessible without forcing you to sacrifice quality. Drive-through breakfast burritos from some Mexican spots can be greasy and heavy, which doesn’t always sit well when you’re about to be physically active—Beaumont avoids that pitfall.

Beaumont’s breakfast burrito features fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What really elevates it is the sauce. A well-made sauce can make or break a breakfast burrito, and Beaumont’s creamy tomatillo esc dressing adds bright, tangy, savory notes that tie the whole thing together.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just a standout burrito. You’ll find excellent coffee, fresh pastries, and a popular burrata salad among other dependable menu items. A quick note: great food draws people, and Beaumont is no exception. Weekends bring crowds, and you’ll often see people gathered outside. If you only want pastries and coffee, don’t be deterred—the counter and drive-through make it easy to grab what you need quickly. If you plan to sit down, especially on a weekend, allow extra time for a wait. The patio and the tastefully designed interior make it worth planning for.
Beaumont remains one of my go-to breakfast stops for convenient, fresh, and flavorful food before heading into the mountains or starting the day in town.
