Irish Cream Brownie Parfaits Recipe — Decadent Layered Dessert

This Irish Cream Brownie Parfait is a simple, indulgent dessert for adults: layers of brownie, Irish cream–spiked whipped cream, maraschino cherries, and optional chocolate sprinkles. It’s perfect for a special occasion or any time you want a rich, boozy treat.

If you love brownies and a little something extra in your dessert, this parfait delivers both. It’s designed with adults in mind, though you can easily omit the liquor for a kid-friendly version. The recipe was inspired by a St. Patrick’s Day theme, but it’s delicious any time of year.

For the brownies I prefer a rich recipe (I often use a sea-salt caramel chip brownie base without the chips), but a favorite boxed mix works perfectly too. The key is to let the brownies cool completely before cutting them into small cubes so the whipped cream stays light and fluffy rather than melting into the warm brownies.

These parfaits are fast to assemble and feel decadent—definitely a “treat yourself” dessert. If you’re sharing with children or prefer a nonalcoholic option, make one batch of whipped cream with Irish cream and one without, so everyone can enjoy.
