This Tinkerbell-inspired smoothie won’t give you wings, but its nutritious ingredients and pretty layers add a little magic to the day.

I’m not great at making themed foods, but I love the idea. A mom in a Facebook group shared how she makes themed dinners for family movie nights, and I was inspired. Right now my little one prefers Cars, but I’m looking forward to trying themed treats as she gets older.
I was chatting with Tara at An Aiming High Wife about recipes for a surplus of pineapple, and she suggested a smoothie. She’d made a Rapunzel-inspired drink, and I wanted to create something similar. I like green smoothies and had some spinach to use, so I combined pineapple and greens for a layered drink.

The colors reminded me of Tinkerbell, and my daughter loved it. This smoothie has no added sugar, plenty of fruit and vegetables, and any leftovers freeze well as popsicles. It’s a simple, tasty way to add a bit of whimsy to breakfast or snack time.

This Tinkerbell-inspired smoothie is playful and healthy. I added a few star sprinkles as “pixie dust” for fun—add them just before serving since they dissolve quickly. These would be adorable in mini glasses for a fairy-themed party. Remove the sprinkles and the name, and you still have a sensible, nutritious pineapple-spinach layered smoothie that tastes great.
Enjoy!
